TERRY WILSON ANNOUNCES CAMPAIGN FOR RE-ELECTION IN HD 20
Today, family man, combat veteran, and conservative state representative Terry Wilson announced his campaign for re-election to the Texas House in District 20. Under the proposed House map, House District 20 will be wholly contained in Williamson County, including portions of Leander and Cedar Park.
"’I have enjoyed representing northern Williamson County for the past 4 years, and I look forward to continuing to serve and to bring more of our communities together in the future." said Wilson. "I am proud of my record, but there is still work to be done. I look forward to serving Williamson County for another term in the Legislature."
In the Texas House, Wilson has successfully:
✓ Fully funded the commitments to public education and higher education for our students and families

✓ Co-authored and helped pass comprehensive election integrity reform to ensure safe and secure elections

Wilson serves as the Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Appropriations Article III (Education) and is a member of the House Committee on Natural Resources. In the past, Terry has also served on the Higher Education, Criminal Jurisprudence, and Defense & Veterans Affairs committees. Additionally, Terry had the privilege of chairing the Aggregate Productions and Operations Interim Committee.
Wilson has been married to his wife, Shannon, for over 25 years and together they have two sons, William and Benjamin. Wilson retired from the U.S. Army after serving over 30 years, where he was a highly regarded senior leader within the Department of the Army, managing a $2.2 billion budget.
